Step 4 - Save/Publish/Share
In the last Step of the Booking Link Setup, you can choose which view type you would like to present to you and your customers for booking, customize your Booking Link, and share your Booking Link with your customers and prospects.
Choosing your Booking Link View type
You and your customers have four different view types to choose from; you are able to select which view you would like your customers to see by default by selecting the type from the dropdown menu. Clicking the “preview” button will also allow you to preview your Booking Link, to see which type you prefer. There are two view types that are fully responsive for mobile and tablet viewing—List view, and Compact List view, which displays the monthly calendar to the left of the available time slots.
The other two view types display the available time slots directly on the calendar, by Week, or by Day. However, these two view types are currently not responsive for mobile and tablet use. We are working to create additional responsive view types for an upcoming release. Note that sometimes, viewing Booking Links on a browser set to less than 100% Zoom Percentage may cause time slots to not appear properly on Week view. You may need to alert customers to this fact if they cannot see any available time slots.
Customizing your Booking Link
You have the ability to customize each Booking Link to match your brand, include instructions for your customers when scheduling , and redirect the customer to a custom confirmation page or back to your website.
In the fourth step of the Booking Link setup, Save/Publish/Share, click “Customize” to bring up the options for your Booking Link. If your company uses General, company-wide settings to customize your team’s booking links, these can be set up in the Admin Settings under Company Settings. If you wish to use your Company-wide settings for this particular Booking Link, choose “General Company-Wide Settings” from the dropdown menu. These settings will be displayed below, and cannot be edited.
If you wish to change your customization settings for this particular Booking Link, choose “Custom Settings” from the dropdown menu. You can customize the header, footer, and confirmation message of your Booking Link using basic HTML and CSS styling. The confirmation message appears after your customer has scheduled with you.
To redirect your customers to a personalized confirmation page or back to your website after a customer finishes scheduling their appointment, enter the URL of the page that you’d like to send the customer to into the box below. After your customer submits his appointment, he is immediately redirected to this URL.
Sharing your Booking Link
Now that you’ve set up your Booking Link, let’s find out how to share it with your prospects and customers. You can use Booking Links in your template emails and marketing campaigns, embed them on your website, or use Booking Links for internal team scheduling.
Using Booking Links in emails
To use Booking Links in your emails, simply copy and paste the unique URL address directly in your campaign emails, or create a hyperlink requesting your customers or prospects to schedule with you. You can paste this in an Infusionsoft email template, or in any other automated email software. If you use Infusionsoft, AppointmentCore will recognize which of your customers has clicked the link in your email, and your customer will not need to input any personal information after selecting a time slot; the customer can simply choose a time slot and the appointment booking is complete.
Using Booking Links on your website
With AppointmentCore Booking Links, you can embed the scheduling widget directly onto your website, so your customers never have to leave your website. In the Save/Publish/Share step, click on the Embed a Widget on your Website arrow, and copy and paste the snippet of code onto your company website. The widget will appear as an iframe embedded directly onto your webpage.
Using Booking Links for internal scheduling
If you would like to use AppointmentCore to improve and enhance your internal scheduling process, you can use Booking Links to schedule appointments internally for your customers—whether they call you on the phone to schedule an appointment, or whether they come into the office, gym, or conference and ask to book an appointment or class with you.
Simply use the Booking Links that you create, and provide them to your team members to use when scheduling appointments for their customers. You can customize the booking page to include detailed instructions for your team when taking appointments, and use the redirect to send your team member to an invoicing page to complete the transaction, or to an internal webform that your team members complete after each call or transaction.
Your team members can log into AppointmentCore to view their schedule and Manage their Appointments. If you prefer that your internal schedulers not have internal access to AppointmentCore, you can provide them with only Booking Link URLs, and access to view a “Share Only” Google Calendar.
